lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report, which highlights Parliament’s position on the Commission’s proposals regarding the EU’s energy agenda up to 2050. It is important to establish long-term goals in terms of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing renewable energy use and improving energy efficiency, something which this resolution sets out to do. Addressing the social problems precipitated by fuel poverty and the rising cost of energy is also a preoccupation in the report. We need a clean, sustainable energy system fit for the future to provide competitiveness and energy independence, reducing imports and investing domestically – binding targets are key to this."@en1
