lpv:spoken text	"I abstained on the final vote because this report puts too much emphasis on piracy and ignores many of the other problems in the region. I voted against the amendments which characterised the majority of Somali people as terrorists, which is damaging to the Somali community in Wales as well. The rapporteur wants international recognition of Somaliland and the text refers to a federal state. In paragraphs 63 and 64 it outlines the positive example that Somaliland has played so far in Somalia’s development. In line with the European Free Alliance’s support for decentralisation and self-determination, I voted for these clauses supporting Somaliland’s efforts to become a ‘reliable area’ in the country. However, these votes were lost."@en1
