lpv:spoken text	"Labour MEPs voted for the resolution on the EU steel industry as we firmly believe that a strategy is needed to improve the competitiveness of the steel industry across the EU and preserve jobs in this vital sector. However, we voted against Paragraph 13, which singled out certain towns for special preference, as recent job losses in places like Port Talbot and Rotherham show this is not just a problem that affects the steel industry in Belgium, France or Italy but one that affects the industry across the whole of the EU. Therefore this resolution should reflect this and not just be specific to certain areas."@en1
