lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I voted for this rule change as it encourages the more effective use of written declarations, as well as strengthening the procedure for members to propose legislative acts for consideration, which I believe is more democratic, workable and cost-effective for the taxpayer. At present, up to five Members may sign any written declaration. The new rules will require that at least ten Members coming from at least three different political groups sign before it can be authorised. This rule change will reduce the number of frivolous declarations and help promote those which are more likely to attract a sufficient level of support across Parliament."@en1
