"I voted in favour of the report on the implementation of the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP). The CSDP is an important crisis management tool for the European Union. This report proposes several innovative solutions for the development of the CSDP in view of the many obstacles hampering its implementation, such as the timidity of Member States when it comes to closer cooperation. In this sense, I support the idea of strengthening the crisis management structures and developing the European Union’s civilian and military capabilities in a more effective way."@en1
