Furthermore, these measures must be formulated and designed with the evolving nature of fisheries management and scientific advice in mind. Poorly conceived or inappropriate technical measures can result in unsustainable fishing practices and in certain circumstances can endanger the lives and safety of fishermen, which is totally unacceptable."@en1
