lpv:spoken text	"I am pleased that a decision on funding for the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna has finally been taken following earthquakes in the region in May. More than 45 000 people were evacuated from the area and widespread damage was done to residential buildings, infrastructure, businesses and industry. It is vital that Emilia-Romagna is provided with the financial means to start repairing the severe damage that was done by those earthquakes. I am disappointed that this funding has been so severely delayed and I do not agree with the UK government’s decision to vote against this funding in the Council. I am however pleased that Parliament has given its full support to mobilising the Solidarity Fund for Italy."@en1
