"I voted in favour of this report as I support the objectives of the proposed regulation, given that it improves the functioning of the internal market while protecting essential public interests, particularly more effective surveillance of the European market. Moreover, the proposed requirements for L-category vehicles can facilitate transition to more efficient, safer and cleaner urban mobility, bringing clear benefits to society. Of note are the new measures to promote access to vehicle repair and maintenance information."@en1
