Hence the decision to restrict the translation of the verbatim report of proceedings. Restricting the current double system of translation and interpreting, which is quite expensive, is a small contribution by Parliament against the backdrop of the current economic crisis. I also think that, with the adoption of a single multilingual document, two important requirements can be met.
