lpv:translated text	"Mr President, it was also easy for me to vote in favour of this report, as it is ultimately a question not just of developing rules for the financial market, but of developing rules that will enable us to keep national debt under control, establish an alert mechanism and settle the issue of how the Member States should communicate with each other and how the European Union should deal with those who fail to comply with the rules. To those Members for whom the report did not go far enough, I would say that no regulation, no directive, no motion for a resolution is so good that it cannot be made better. We are only just embarking on this route. But if we do not begin our journey, we will never reach our destination. That is why I had no problem at all in voting in favour of this report."@en1
