lpv:translated text	"I voted for this report. It is estimated that by 2030, the demand for energy and water will rise by 40 % and the demand for food by 50 %. Population growth, together with a rising middle class in emerging and developing nations, will put huge pressure on natural resources. For these reasons, EU development policy should consider the fulfilment of developing countries’ needs. I agree that EU trade agreements with third countries should include appropriate provisions on social standards to allow a contribution to be made to the sustainable development of those countries in the future."@en1
