"I voted against this resolution, despite the fact that the Committee on International Trade has produced an interesting text that picks up on many of the most important issues in relations between the EU and Japan. My concern is that a free trade agreement with Japan could damage our industry and repeat what happened with South Korea. My opposition to an agreement that removes tariffs between Europe and Japan is total and unconditional."@en1
