"At the part-session of 23 October, I voted against the request to refer the matter back to the Committee on International Trade and voted in favour of Vital Moreira’s report on the Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA). In the end, the request for referral back to the committee was not approved. The report, meanwhile, was adopted by 379 votes to 230, with 41 abstentions. I welcome this result."@en1
