The EGF is designed to provide additional support to workers who have been made redundant as a result of major structural changes in world trade patterns and to assist their reintegration in the labour market. I strongly support this initiative, which allows us to help the Netherlands to deal with huge job losses (in 54 enterprises) in the construction sector since its application meets the conditions for deploying the EGF."@en1
