lpv:translated text	"Although the implementation of the Single European Sky (SES) project has already taken many positive steps forward, 2012 is expected to be a pivotal year for its implementation. Since air traffic is fast approaching its maximum capacity and as time passes the problem continues to grow, there is a relative sense of urgency with regard to the need to successfully implement the SES legislation in order to avoid possible safety or operational risks with ever heavier traffic flows and outdated technologies. I would also underline that the benefits of a full and timely implementation of the SES are too great to ignore, not only for economic gains but also for potential benefits on growth, job creation and the environment. I therefore voted in favour of the proposal."@en1
