lpv:translated text	"I supported this report because I consider essential the activity of civil society and the involvement of EU citizens in exercising their rights in full. Furthermore, I am convinced that all EU citizens should be aware of their right to move freely and choose their place of residence in the EU. Because there is little awareness of the concept of EU citizenship and the related rights, I consider it necessary to additionally inform and involve the citizens of all Member States. This is particularly important for me as an MEP representing the people here. For this reason, I supported the European Year of Citizens."@en1
