". Madam President, several previous speakers, Mr Lange, have talked about the human rights situation. This Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA) was referred to Parliament two years ago, together with an agreement on agricultural products with the Palestinian territories. The first of these agreements is being discussed here today; the second was adopted by this House with no problems at all. Let me ask you this: why is it different when the Israelis do what we regard as the wrong thing? What about the Palestinians? Do you think that Hamas’ practice of executing people or torturing them in cases of doubt is compatible with our human rights standards? Why did we adopt the first agreement with no problems at all eighteen months ago, and why are you now coming up with all kinds of arguments which, strangely, were apparently irrelevant then? Have you added to your knowledge or have I misunderstood?"@en1
