I consider that implementing them is a priority, and it should be carried out fully and uniformly in order to avoid any confusion. Furthermore, travellers must be kept informed about the rights they enjoy, and information made available to them must be clear, simple and accessible. Transparency also needs to be improved in all services offered, to eliminate unfair commercial practices. I would stress that all consumers have the right to a high and equal level of protection, and the role of national control authorities in this respect is extremely important. Applying passenger rights legislation to all modes of transport will improve free movement in the internal market."@en1
