In 2010, it still cost EUR 27 million, in 2011 it was EUR 11 million and now it can be done for as little as EUR 1 million! But what is the Commission trying to achieve with one million that is not achieved with a multiple of that amount? The Commission wants to spend the money on translating and distributing propaganda for the European project. Does that give citizens an understanding of the Union and its institutions? No, of course not! As long as the Union restricts freedom and wreaks havoc on the economy, citizens will not understand the decisions taken in Brussels. The creation of a European identity, then. Well, ask the Greeks about that; they have been given hundreds of billions. The Commission has come up with a proposal that no citizen has asked for and not even the Commission itself believes in. That is clear from this budget. And, Mr President, even that EUR 1 million is money wasted."@en1
