For investment funds to be granted the status of ‘European Venture Capital Fund’, set requirements will have to be fulfilled by venture capital fund managers. There will also be restrictions on the investments that can be made using a fund’s assets. Two directives already exist: Directive 2011/61/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Directive 2009/65/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council."@en1
