We keep a close eye on, and are very much in favour of economically supporting. European citizens belonging to vulnerable groups in society – especially disabled people. We are wary of social enterprises that aim to classify people as ‘vulnerable’ when this is not the case – here, I am referring to citizens of third countries whom, at a time of economic crisis like the present, when there is no work available, we would prefer did not come to Europe. We need to be careful to ensure that social entrepreneurship does not become a loophole allowing companies to operate at lower prices than others and thereby distort market conditions."@en1
