"I voted for the report on the conclusion of an interinstitutional agreement concerning the forwarding to the European Parliament of classified information held by the Council (apart from matters relating to the common foreign and security policy). I firmly believe that Parliament should have access to all relevant documents and information in order to do its work. I therefore believe that it is time for the Council and Parliament to begin negotiations to amend the 2002 interinstitutional agreement and to better reflect the increased importance of Parliament."@en1
