lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this report because the European Parliament must do its work smoothly and transparently and this can only be achieved with access to all relevant documents and information. To ensure the effective exercise of its prerogatives and competences, Parliament needs access to classified information held by Council and arrangements therefore need to be made for cooperation between Council and Parliament. In accordance with EP security rules, Members and EP staff on EP premises must have access to classified information, and rapporteurs, shadow rapporteurs and all committee members can have such access. This draft agreement concerns access to classified information on matters other than those in the area of the common foreign and security policy."@en1
