"I voted in favour of this technical amendment to the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) in relation to conformity assessment between the European Community and New Zealand because it will remove unnecessary restrictions on trade between the parties, reduce the administrative burden related to management of the MRA and facilitate and clarify the operation of the MRA. This kind of obstacle of a more technical nature is what we now need to try and remove to facilitate trade rather than those related to tariffs."@en1
