lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I voted with my group in favour of the report which reforms the Common Fisheries Policy with regard to the organisation of the markets. The first positive change is that discards will be reduced by stipulating that producer organisations should actively promote discard avoidance. Another merit is the modified objectives of producer organisations, which now include promoting the creation of jobs in coastal and rural areas, as well as providing vocational training to motivate young people to enter the sector. Crucially, another amended objective of producer organisations is the assurance that a fair standard of living will be implemented for those in the fisheries sector. Finally the amended report also ensures that clearer information should be given to the consumer on the origin of the fisheries products. It also, notably, calls for the development of an EU-wide eco-label for sustainable fishery products."@en1
