lpv:translated text	"Education and vocational training are one of the drivers of economic growth, while also helping raise the level of social inclusion and cohesion. This is why the policies in this area need to be implemented as effectively as possible as part of the Europe 2020 strategy. I think that investment needs to continue in education, lifelong vocational training, research and innovation. In my view, young people need to benefit from increased measures aimed at their integration into the labour market after completing their studies, as this group is being hit hard by the current crisis. Last but not least, I think that older people need to be encouraged to take part in education and training activities aimed at providing personal fulfilment and social contact. I voted for this resolution, which may help improve cooperation in education and vocational training in the next stage of the ‘Education and Training 2020’ programme."@en1
