"Once again, the EU attempts to add a gender perspective to an issue that is not gender-related. This report on women in the green economy includes a number of condescending proposals, which include the provision of specific training courses for women who wish to work in green jobs and the improvement of public transport with the specific aim of enabling women to travel more easily. Not only does this report over-generalise the issue of the green economy, but it includes a number of areas that should be the exclusive responsibility of Member States to decide, such as setting targets and quotas for the management boards of companies in the green economy. Furthermore, it calls for better access to health care and education, which are completely unrelated to the issue of the green economy and are not matters for the EU."@en1
