Organ donation saves lives and brings real hope for a better future for numerous families. This donation, when properly supervised, represents a chance for many European citizens. However, the press is too often filled with stories on the existence of a parallel illegal trade in organs coming from clearly identified countries. Every European citizen should have access to the latest medical techniques regarding donations, whilst also being protected from illegal practices such as the trade in organs."@en1
