By voting in favour of this resolution, Parliament intends to allocate more resources to this policy. The implementation of joint processing of asylum applications and the strengthening of the European Asylum Support Office are needed. This should help to address the need for solidarity between Member States and thus encourage them to cooperate more closely."@en1
