A great deal has already been said, to which I should like to add the following: one way of turning energy efficiency into a source of energy is to communicate with the citizens of Europe in a bid to encourage a certain type of behaviour. I propose that we integrate the principles of energy efficiency and energy savings into national school curricula. We could also run European information and guidance campaigns for European citizens in order to encourage energy awareness and the right behaviour."@en1
