"I welcome this resolution because peaceful and non-violent measures are the only way to achieve a sustainable solution to the conflict between Israel and Palestine and remove political tension. There must be greater progress in the Middle East peace process. Above all, the Israeli authorities should end the detention of Palestinians and guarantee them a fair trial. Furthermore, it is very important for Hamas to finally recognise the state of Israel and to end the acts of violence it carries out both within Israel and outside."@en1
