lpv:translated text	"Mr President, I would like to thank the rapporteur for her constructive approach to the proposals of the Court of Justice. The Commission regrets that a decision on additional judges at the General Court is postponed. The backlog of cases at the General Court remains a source of concern. However, we welcome the compromise reached today by the institutions on all the other elements of the reform. The Commission is pleased to see that most of the changes it suggested in its opinion in September 2011 have been taken on board by Parliament and the Council. We also take note of Parliament’s intention to hold a debate in the near future on the merits of introducing the possibility of issuing dissenting opinions at the Court of Justice. We have some reservation vis-à-vis the introduction of such a system at the Court, but we will of course participate constructively in all the discussions."@en1
