"I voted in favour of this resolution. In order to withstand competition from the emerging economies, we need to do our utmost to promote the attractiveness of investing in Europe. The Commission must therefore take immediate action and prepare a communication as a matter of urgency containing measures for enhancing the EU investment environment and recommendations to the Member States. Furthermore, it is very important to finally complete an effectively functioning internal market and modernise the European public procurement market."@en1
