Urbanisation, population growth, over consumption, biological and chemical pollution, hydromorphological alterations and climate change are putting ever increasing pressure on the availability and quality of safe and secure water. In this context, it is important to support the Resource Efficiency road map in the framework of the Europe 2020 strategy.
