"I am voting for this report and would express my extreme concern about the escalation of hostilities between Sudan and South Sudan due to unresolved post-separation issues, including the sharing of economic resources, such as oil. The European Union should work closely with regional and global actors to ensure the smooth implementation of the UN Resolution on the demand for an end to Sudan-South Sudan hostilities, and to get on track for a comprehensive solution that resolves the two countries’ separation problems."@en1
