lpv:translated text	"I voted for this resolution because I think that we need to improve energy supply security. On the one hand, the Commission needs to provide a clearer definition of ‘energy solidarity’ among EU Member States, while, on the other hand, external energy suppliers, routes and supply sources need to be properly diversified. According to estimates, the global demand for energy will rise by 40% by 2030. In addition, the EU’s dependency on energy imports could increase, in turn, in spite of the efforts to achieve energy efficiency and utilise renewable energy sources. The Nabucco project could have helped achieve the necessary diversification of energy supply sources. Unfortunately, there is no visible progress leading to the implementation of this ambitious European project."@en1
