Through this own-initiative report, Parliament has chosen to define a new development cooperation which now gives due regard to the situation of each country and is based on broader indicators than income levels, such as economic and technological advances and ECHO’s poverty, vulnerability and crisis index. I supported this report in plenary, which was adopted by a large majority. I welcome this move."@en1
