"I welcome Parliament’s approval of this draft amending budget presented by the Commission which aims to provide aid to the Italian regions of Liguria and Tuscany which were severely affected by flooding in autumn 2011. With a proposal to mobilise EUR 18 061 682, there has been real cooperation on the EU Solidarity Fund between Parliament, by whom no amendments have been tabled, the Commission and the Council, so that aid can be provided to the two affected regions as quickly as possible."@en1
