lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of the report on a common system of financial transaction tax because I think that the EU must set a good example in this area. From now on, international finance must be better regulated and controlled. In that regard, the introduction of a financial transaction tax (FTT) is part of the vital effort to regulate financial flows. Furthermore, I take the view that part of the revenue generated by the FTT within the European Union should be used as own resources of the EU budget. Similarly, a certain percentage of the amount collected through this tax should be invested in financing EU development cooperation policy and the policy to combat climate change in developing countries."@en1
