"Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, the Netherlands is totally fed up. This sham parliament wants to strip the Netherlands to the bone. The ESM Treaty will cost the Netherlands up to EUR 40 billion. Eurobonds will also cost billions of euro a year and will make the Netherlands severally liable for Greek and Spanish debts. Today, we are debating yet another scam designed to rob the Dutch of their money: the financial transaction tax. This tax will cost the Netherlands up to EUR 4 billion a year. Our pension funds will start to bleed and ultimately, our citizens will pay for this. The Netherlands is sick and tired of this money-eating European Union. Mr Barroso and the Commission have made a mess of it. Europe is in ruins and the Netherlands is being asked to pick up the tab. And the worst part is that most of my fellow Dutch politicians actually agree with all of this. The VVD, CDA, PvdA, Groen-Links and D66 delegations to the European Parliament are all ready to hand over our wallets and our sovereignty to the failing Brussels bureaucrats. But we are not going to do that. In the upcoming Dutch elections on 12 September, Dutch citizens will vote against Europe, against the ESM, against European taxes, against Eurobonds and against all this money wasting. The Dutch are not going to be told what to do."@en1
