A further reduction in the Total Allowable Catch is likely to be necessary but, in my opinion, the need to correctly identify and then provide support and protection for spawning grounds and existing control measures is a prerequisite for a successful recovery plan. In this respect, closer monitoring of international trade, along with proper documentation of all catches, will clearly help to reduce the influx of catches made in illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing."@en1
