These issues may include the difficulties that they encounter in their daily lives and which, in their opinion, do not receive due attention or support. The citizens’ initiative will complete the direct ties existing between the citizens and the institutions by ensuring that the institutions of the European Union will examine the specific problems of importance to citizens and will spark wider-ranging debate across the EU’s internal borders."@en1
