It should also be called on to intensify its efforts to implement wide-ranging reforms, with a view to complying with the Copenhagen criteria, which will help with the modernisation process itself, and to creating an environment of mutual comprehension and respect with the 27 EU Member States; this will enable an exchange of best practices on gender equality between all parties, to the benefit of Turkish women."@en1
