lpv:translated text	"This report tackles the question of the issuance of euro coins. Its core concerns are the introduction of mandatory provisions and an integrated framework for the issuance of euro coins in all the Member States, and the increased transparency and security of this process. In this regard, future consideration of the issuance of EUR 1 and EUR 2 notes is suggested, given the benefits this would bring, particularly as regards making the currency more manageable and widely accepted. Moreover, reducing the number of commemorative coins in circulation will also be of benefit because it would increase their value by virtue of their greater scarcity. The report also includes a proposal that the Commission conduct an impact study into the continued issuance of the euro’s 1 cent and 2 cent coins. These proposals are timely and beneficial, so I voted for this report."@en1
