I strongly believe that corruption, organised crime, terrorism, radicalisation, cybercrime, challenges to border management and illicit trafficking all represent major threats to the internal security of the European Union and to the lives of its citizens. Therefore, concrete action must be taken by the relevant bodies in order not only to fight against these threats but also to prevent them.
