lpv:spoken text	"I welcome this report. In 2010, the EC adopted the EU 2020 strategy with the aim of creating smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and of improving economic governance. One of the seven flagship initiatives of Europe’s growth strategy is ‘Digital Agenda for Europe’, a strategy to take advantage of the potential offered by the rapid progress of digital technologies. eGovernment is about using the tools and systems made possible by information and communication technologies (ICTs) to provide better public services to citizens and businesses. eGovernment development is considered in most of the Member States as being based, on the one hand, on office automation, the interconnectivity network between public administrations and, on the other hand, on the development of the right digital content and applications."@en1
