This report calls on the Member States and the EU itself to implement concrete measures, so as to reverse this situation quickly. I am fully behind measures such as strengthening the regulation of company registries and registers of trust, identifying areas in which improvements may be made to both EU legislation and administrative cooperation among Member States, and increased transparency and tighter controls to prevent the use of tax havens.
