The principal advantages of introducing the CCCTB: greater fiscal transparency, which will make the tax system more equitable and efficient; reduced enforcement costs and red tape, which will improve the prospects for growth of businesses with cross-border operations, make the European Union more attractive to foreign investors and promote the accessibility of the internal market for SMEs and for businesses which are not yet operating across borders; the expectation that allocation decisions on the internal market will be taken more in the light of social and economic considerations of a tax-neutral nature than they are at present; a reduction in two types of tax problems: tax evasion and fraud on the one hand and double taxation on the other."@en1
