The quickest and most reliable way for Member States’ institutions to exchange data is through electronic communications. All these procedures should be speeded up for the benefit of all those concerned. At the same time, I think that those affected must benefit from all the guarantees provided for by the EU provisions on protecting natural persons with regard to their personal data being processed and freely distributed.
