lpv:translated text	"This own-initiative report analyses the EU citizenship report 2010 on ‘Dismantling the obstacles to EU citizens’ rights’ published by the Commission. The Commission has consulted civil society and has listed the most important obstacles that citizens face in the exercise of their rights across borders. In total, 25 points have been highlighted and the Commission puts forward solutions to help private individuals, consumers, residents, students, tourists and professionals or political actors. My group insisted strongly on respect for values as defined by the Charter of Fundamental Rights, criticising, for instance, the mass expulsions on the basis of ethnic or national origin.
